I've gone a week without this computer, and what happened? It jumped to another time zone. The usual dashboard is nowhere to be found. The usual list of blogs I follow, gone. The routines have changed and I'm left to figure them out on my own.
This is not the first time.
Nor will it be the last time.
Is Blogger trying to tell us something?
Or it just doesn't like Me to be part of the past I knew.
Is this a Halloween prank? It can't be, too early for Halloween. Is this a ploy to sell me some product or app I should have to maneuver as easily as I did last week?
Or, am I in a paranoid state, a change brought about by visiting the Puritan compound at Plymouth?
You know, they believed smoking was good for you, for your lungs, for pleurisy...

Well, I couldn't find the blogs I follow this morning, but they're back now...??? It has happened before for me also. Don't know what causes it.
Like Rian said, it has happened to me, but only for a short period of time.
Never had a time zone change on me.
Everything's fine here today, but it has happened to me on other occasions. Such a nuisance.
Wow, I would be at a loss about what happened...right now I'm struggling to get my internet connection back at home...the service provider was having problems for two days and now it's been discovered that my modem is working, that it's very old and needs to be replaced. So I have been at Panera every morning this week to go through my email and do what I can about my blogging...good luck on getting your sidebar back! It may just suddenly reappear one day :)
If a person thinks the Lord works in mysterious ways, they haven't tried using a computer. And along the same line... the computer gives and it taketh away. I just sit and shake my head.
ok i still have a dashboard luckily...guess i wont be signing out any time soon...they keep making it harder and harder.....
Sometimes I think it's a conspiracy against bloggers! Good luck figuring it out..I never can figure out the workings of Blogger.
It happened to me today, too -- what I do is click on the little icon at the top of the page that takes you to your own blog list. Then I click on the arrow that takes you to the last page visited and presto, the blog roll returns...
Wait wait Rosaria before we get to blogger are you saying the Puritans were wrong and I have wasted the past 52 years smoking? O now what do i have left me to believe in?
Blogger---haven't a clue. It has evolved into true AI and just does what it wants when it wants.
It has happened o to me too but usually rights itself. Also things get changed around and I have difficulty catching up. I'm having trouble with the new system in Google mail right now.
Maybe I'm a bit thick!

Nuts in May
Are you using a new browser or a new browser version? Sometimes that is the problem. Other times it is just a wanky computer. Also sometimes blogger acts up. By the time you read this all may be back to normal...I HOPE!
Well that's strange indeed. I hope it rights itself before too long.
Eureka!
No, it didn't "right" itself. I kept entering blogger through my connected Google accounts, instead of through Blogger on the More list of Google Apps. See, Google keeps me searching to remain connected!

It is a strange contraption and I don't have a clue. Fortunately I have a ten year grandson who is an expert in anything digital and is ready willing and able to fix things for his grandpa....:)
Hi Rosaria .. sometime the Blogger-Google gremlins decide to test us once again ...
However am glad to see you seem to have worked it out ...
Listing - bet that cottage-barn has been there for decades .. what a lovely photo ..
Cheers Hilary
Just popped over to say a belated hello, Rosaria, and I see Blogger has done this to you!!! Several friends lately have experienced similar problems. I just wish Blogger would leave things alone and not mess around with things which until their messing work reasonably well.
Hope you are OK.
Just in case you have not heard I had some sad news in April. I lost my dear wife to breast cancer and my last post shows in a way how this hit me. I am gradually coming out of the tunnel now.
Very best wishes ~ Eddie
So sorry you had such hassles. Google is really messing with us these days. It keeps insisting that I join Google+, something I have no interest in doing if I can continue avoiding all the prompts and blocks set up to drive me crazy.
The time zone change is truly bizarre, though. Maybe you entered the Twilight Zone!
"To err is human; to really mess things up requires a computer."
Sorry about your computer mess. I'm going through one right now, too. Some day I expect I'll have it corrected.
Blessings and Bear hugs!
