Announcing:.

All I did was  sign up  to participate in the A-Z challenge.
A simple task, write every day in April starting with A.
Add a link to others.

Attach and Display the logo.
Attract new followers.
Ah, it seemed so easy.

Here I am,  April 2nd, in trouble, late, having totally forgotten about the sign up.
I do have a great announcement?

See the couple above with the water dog?
Brian, my youngest, and Janet, have  become engaged!
No date set yet.
The picture is from six months ago at  our place.
Announcing this union gives me great pleasure.
The two of them will have a great future together.

Apologizing about my tardiness and  bowing out of the competition is all I can do right now.
I'm sure you can forgive me.

such a challenge!...not for free spirits but surely a good brain teaser for those who enjoy that sort of thing.

Wonderful news, Rosaria. Exciting time. Congratulations and best wishes to Brian and Janet! And to the dog, who will have, I'm sure, two wonderful people providing care.

I sense, though, that you're having a bit of a challenge with all the excitement. The cure for that is petting the dog; that actually lowers your blood pressure.

Oh, I know the feeling. Sounds like a good idea at the time...then...

One of the pleasure of the golden years is we can give ourselves permission to change our mind...life is too short. I also give myself permission to stop reading any book that hasn't grabbed my attention instead of obsessively wadding through it to the end! Congratulations to your son and his love!

That's okay.... we can't do everything and it is better to let people know than struggle with the guilt.

Happy times in family life and lovely photo too.

be well
I think you're a bit of a star without having to write everyday.

Oh what happy news, Congratulations!

I am in the A-Z Challenge, and it would be fun to buddy with you. And so this is a selfish plea..you have done your A, and C is not due till Monday, you can skip B (Sunday is a rest day for the Challenge) and just go to C. You don't have to do anything else (except paste the logo on the sidebar, so that people would know why you are doing the alphabets) but blog daily according to the alphabets.

But pet the dog before you decide and if you really can't, I would understand. It is quite a challenge as I am finding it.

(Maybe you can use it for "G" too;))

Im amazed to see you find the time for what you do do Rosaria... including popping in with fine comments over my way at times...

lovely family news... go well...
S
ps that previous post about who's looking after you... Im feeling sad that we've had all the progress weve had and quality of life is so up in the air for people who committed to hard work over decades...
we have to rethink this way we are living... the template is not bringing peace of mind we are running with!

You are not the first to back out of the A-Z project. Plus I hear there are over 1000 signed up. I'm betting more will drop out. That is a hard commitment to make.

Slacker hahahahahaha your time is your own to do as you want to do and if bowing is one of those things you wish to do Rosaria, then that dear is yours to unashamedly do.

Just a few years ago I wouldn't dream of bowing out of anything! Now, I'm so together! And so selfish!

Thanks folks,

I've been overwhelmed too and finally decided to go back to blogging. You have enjoyed my writing blog before, so I wanted to let you know I'm posting my manuscript several times a week until everyone has had a chance to read it PRIOR to being published.
