Now, to watch the despots in other parts of the world run for the hills.

I am praying that a new and good government will be voted in, in Egypt and that the peace continues and that Christians in Egypt are safe and protected.

I am with Terra! Hope it all works out positively!

Hopefully democracy can bring a new regime to Egypt that will bring peace to this land. It will be interesting to see what happens. I have a feeling we need to stay tuned...

Peaceful so far, we will see what is next. Yesterday Mubarek said, "you are not the boss of me!" and this morning there must have been a knock on his door to tell him, "you are out of here..."

I pray the extremists do not move in where there is a gap and for continued peace with Israel.

Hope all goes well for them. And, hope that Americans get their act together and this country back on the right train tracks.

This is a tenuous beginning. The army being on control is not a good sign. I'm not for giving up; I do feel uneasy about this.

Lets hope that it all works out really well for them. They have to be admired for their sheer determination & courage.
I think that there are other similar States who must be worried right now.

Will America learn from this? Or are we to fat and lazy to mass against them who own us?

YES!

Not entirely peaceful, surely. And something that strikes me is how many thousands of more MEN were in the streets than women, unlike, say, the Iranian revolution. Although analysts say that women were repressed again after the Shah was long gone. In 1968, in Paris, there were many men on the streets only there "pour la bagare", as people said. Revolt is a dicey way of changing things and with Mubarek gone, what will relations with Israel be like. THAT is the crucial question for me.

It may be a bit early for the halleluiahs. Since King Farouk was ousted Egypt has had only miltary rulers and the army is the main economic force out there. Sounds good for now but like Miss Sadie and Marc Aurel I have reservations.

It is a postive sign, we can only hope that the will of the people will prevail.

It is a start, now we have to see how the unanswered questions are answered.
