Happy New Day

The day has ended like the year, dark shadows and dead branches silhouetted against a setting sun.

Tomorrow, cows will graze lazily on Floras Creek, showing or hiding the political campaign sign, our own destiny written on a wide field.

We have things to look forward to.

And things to forget.

Will make a new list.

And bet the sun will come up again from the East.

Happy New Day! Happy New Year!

Happy New Year! The sun has just risen over here, along with the blue moon setting. It was quite beautiful, but my daughter took our camera earlier still as she left to watch the sunset with friends.

The moon went down here surrounded by pink clouds as the sun rose above the hills bursting with orange when I walked by dog this morning and felt glad to be alive.
I hope you have a fine and happy new year.

Some things stay the same... some things change.... but really I think it's all up to us as to what stays the same and what changes.

May whatever you wish for in this coming year be true for you.

I too have things to forget, and others to cherish. I like the idea of thinking of new days rather than the huge change of a new decade. It's nice to have a blank canvass, but a little daunting! Anyway greetings to you for the newness ahead anyway...

Sunset is falling into the western orange sky here as I read your words. It was a happy day. It was an outstanding old year. Now we have a new canvas to paint. I am pleased to have met you in this past year, Rosaria. Your comments have been thought-provoking and always encouraging. I want you to have a beautiful new year.
Fondly, Chris
