Award Day from Blogland.

Thank you Lola for this lovely award, which I managed to copy and paste!

Lola, at Aglio,Olio e Peperoncino, truly deserves this award and many many more. Since she started, she's taken off like a meteor! She blogs about travel, food, Italian customs, and about Italy, my homeland.

Palabras Como Rosas

The award is for words that like roses, leave a wonderful perfume, lingering for a while. Now, I know that Lola's words do that to me. I think of her as another daughter, (I really don't know how old Lola is, but, I guessed she is in her thirties, the same age as my musician daughter!)

So, with great gratitude, mille grazie, Lola.

Now, I get to select nine other blogs who have similar qualities, excluding Lola and Tessa who gave her the award. Their blogs are on my top five list. Check these for warmth and lingering scent of roses:

1. The Things We Carried

2. Pics and Poems

3.Fire Byrd
4. Circling my head
5. Lizzy Frizzfrock
6.In through the backdoor
8. The Chemist's kitchen
9. A woman of no importance
I need to say that my list goes to twenty-five today, all deserving blogs that ought to be recognized. Perhaps the above nine folks will do the pleasure. Good luck.

Congratulations!!! I was just scrolling down to congratulate on 2 points... 1) your new award & 2) actually getting it copied & pasted onto your blog... when I saw my very own name.
So now I must say "Thank You" for extending to me this most wonderful award. I have recently found Lola's blog & agree with you that she is a star!
Thanks Rosaria!
xoxoxo Lizzy :-)

you're too kind, sei troppo gentile! Thank you for your introduction and large use of compliments paired with my name. I'm blushing.

I've outgrown my thirties 10 years ago... but everyone says I look younger. You're the second person in blogland who says I "write" younger too. Which is a huge boost to my limping ego.

Ciao cara cara Maestra, hope physical therapy's doing its job abd have a good day, mine's coming to an end. Buonanotte,

la tua amica, Lola.

HA! This is so funny to me. Sorry. I read through that list and totally missed the back door! Thanks for that. Boy, apparently I don't read as well as I should.

Thanks so much Rosaria. I love awards and this is so pretty and the meaning so wonderful.

I love Lola too. I think I went there one day through this doorway.

She is so beautiful and amazing.

How are you my mentor?

Love Renee xoxo

Hi Rosaria just to let you know...

I am still posting. Blogger has a problem and my new posts are not being feed to other bloggers' bloglists so it appears as if I am stuck with Florence!

I am feeling very lonely today!

My congratulations on your award. You greatly deserve it. But I really must get around to rejigging my blog. The thing is that some time ago I took the decision - with a somewhat heavy heart - not to accept any more awards and to remove the ones I have. Several reasons for this, one of which was the wish to speed up the blog a bit. So please do not take this personally. I am very appreciative of the fact that you thought of me. It is very flattering, but I think I must stand by my original decision. With thanks again.

Dearest Rosaria...finally we meet :) I just started to read through all the prayers and good wishes sent to us after the accident, and your good name was amongst them. I am touched, and from the bottom of my heart I thank you for your kindness and healing help....
with great affection,
Braja xx

Your posts do leave me with the lovliest feelings ~ wear the award with pride. And ... thank you for introducing me to bloggers I haven't had the pleasure of meeting yet.
