  3. Yes, the shore is too far from us: a 4 hour drive to the poor, battered, oily Gulf of Mexico. I miss the water...thank you for sharing your fabulous, beautiful photos. Happy Holidays to you, too. Blessings!

  4. If I still lived in Utah....but you're west coast, I'm east. I visited my grandparents in LeGrande, Oregon, WAY back in 1949!! My father was born in Union, and talked about the beautiful country there. These photographs are evocative of a place I'd like to see every day. Thank you for posting them!

Happy Holidays to you and yours, too!!!

  17. And to you.

I laugh. The holidays are different for all of us. Here, it is pines and blowing snow and for you a chilly shorline. A beautiful share. Perhaps I'll wrangle some photos soon.

  19. Great Slide show, my favorite still being the silhouettes of two people on the beach.

You certainly live in lovely area.

I have come to believe however, America should realize how unique and beautiful every facet of our country, both its ethereal beauty and its wonderful diverse cultures.

Which is why I love the old song AMERICA! THE BEAUTIFUL
