Yes, the shore is too far from us: a 4 hour drive to the poor, battered, oily Gulf of Mexico. I miss the water...thank you for sharing your fabulous, beautiful photos. Happy Holidays to you, too. Blessings!
If I still lived in Utah....but you're west coast, I'm east. I visited my grandparents in LeGrande, Oregon, WAY back in 1949!! My father was born in Union, and talked about the beautiful country there. These photographs are evocative of a place I'd like to see every day. Thank you for posting them!
I laugh. The holidays are different for all of us. Here, it is pines and blowing snow and for you a chilly shorline. A beautiful share. Perhaps I'll wrangle some photos soon.
Great Slide show, my favorite still being the silhouettes of two people on the beach.
You certainly live in lovely area.
I have come to believe however, America should realize how unique and beautiful every facet of our country, both its ethereal beauty and its wonderful diverse cultures.
Which is why I love the old song AMERICA! THE BEAUTIFUL
Happy New year and a Merry Christmas from 2500 miles to the Pacific, 1500 miles to the Atlantic,1000 miles to the Artic and 40 miles to the U.S. border and New York State.
Just in case the shore is too far! From our house to yours: Happy Holidays.
