  1. We will be heading out to enjoy a day at the beach nearby (and we will be bringing mittens just in case!) Hope we see some sea lions!
    Happy Earth Day tomorrow!

  2. I will be in the garden. Mother earth has given me such good growings in my garden that I have to see what can stay and what cannot. Plus, it is time for feeding. Playing in the dirt gives me peace. Have a great day and Happy Easter.

  3. G'day Rosaria. Happy Earth Day to you. Hope you enjoyed your time in the garden. Mine was spent working in the morning, but then in the afternoon I raked up some of the leaves that have fallen from a few big trees near the house. It's autumn here in Australia, a beautiful time. Take care...

  7. Me too in the garden if the rain permits. Have some more planting to do.
I do hope we do not ruin the beautiful planet any more than we all ready have. I try very hard to be green.

  8. I'm going to play golf ... which I admit is controversial from an "Earth Day" perspective. Preserves open space, but uses chemicals to do it.

    I'm planting a tree tomorrow.

  13. Bend goes all out with a parade .. everyone wearing animal themed masks and costumes. It's great.

On a sad note, the woman who went missing over six weeks ago was found .. in their back yard inside the inner workings of the controls of a water feature. She had been shot once in the head. I wrote about it on Poetry Matters Flash 55today. Family members will have a very difficult time moving past this. Second marriage, kids and grandkids on both sides.

  15. It's still a little cold to think about gardening here. But how about if I think about it? Does that count?

  16. Happy Earth Day, Rosaria! It's a perfect day to go coddle my tomatoes! And just enjoy the colors of spring here in our desert oasis.

  17. I let Good Friday take precedent today over Earth Day on my blog, it was unfortunate they fell on the same date this year, although it is a day I would normally acknowledge in some way. Yes it was gardening here, not a Bank Holiday in Italy.
Thanks for your lovely comment about the wisteria recently.

  21. I'm dreaming about being in the garden...if it would stop raining and the temps would rise into the fifties...I'd ask for the 60's, but who am I kidding! I did mow the grass even though it was 45de. out!
