  8. Funny that when I was a kid, we went to visit my grandparents in Wisconsin and a delightful little town nearby called Orford-ville!! It, too had charming shops, Norweigan local color, cute homes, and deer but no gorgeous coastline!!

  25. Today I have been in a very nostalgic mood and this fits right in -- reminding of the road trip my husband and I took in 2008 when we drove down the Oregon coast and on to California and beyond. We tell everybody that the Oregon coast is beautiful beyond words ...
