Spring is Here!



It's happening: everything is budding and eager to bust out of its cocoon. We're all encouraged.









Sit down, stay. The woodland is changing before our very own eyes.

Pinks and yellows, settle in!
Red, stop littering!
White! Where are you?

Who put the purple adirondacks in the green of Oregon?

It must be Spring around here.

    Today has been wall to wall sunshine here. We are not as far forward with our plants, but it is all just around the corner.

    Oh, I'm so happy for you! The sun is shining brightly here in PA today, but the snow is lingering! Sigh! We'll be joining you soon on that adirondack chair, HOPEFULLY!!

    Fantastic to see the little buds.

    We are waiting for the lovely cooler weather to come over here. Our summer has been very hot and humid this year....quite stifling.

    We've still got quite a bit of snow cover here. It's FINally melting off the drive, though, so I can get out and walk. Yay! I can't believe you actually have blooms already!

    Beautiful! I'm encouraging spring here too. We don't have anything budding at my house yet, everything is brown & looks dead. I hope things will bloom and I have not lost all my garden. My bottle brush looks terrible & we are wondering if it will recover; it was so beautiful and the birds love it so.
    All morning I worked outside, burning brush, cleaning the patio, re-potting some things. More work as the week goes on. Enjoy!

    I haven't seen any of those signs here yet. Although it was sunny and close to 60 degrees today. I would like to think that spring has arrived, but it's so much earlier than typical here in Maine, that I don't quite dare to believe it! Lovely photos...especially those two adirondack chairs.

    I am hoping it will get a bit warmer as the doctor told me this morning to begin walking for exercise. It is nice here and most of the snow is gone and should disappear by tomorrow.

    Ah Yes. It is reluctantly beginning to show its garments here.

    I checked the forsynthia and believe they will burst out in yellow, maybe this week.

    Today may be 70! PERFECT.

    Hi Folks, thanks for stopping by. This Monday morning we are back to dreary rainy day. Spring is so delicate, and will be for a long time. Only my peas, broccoli and chard are doing well in the soil. Everything else is hiding.

    Yes, it seems to have happened here also - overnight. Had to visit the greenhouse today. Get my tomato plants for yet another try.
