The Comforters is an indie singer/songwriter group, husband and wife team, Pia and Jason, here in a live music performance in Portland. Pia is our daughter, the middle child, between S and B, the boys you met in my previous post.Besides writing all their own songs, The Comforters perform and record at their own music studio in Eugene, Oregon. Whenever we can, hubby and I like to take in the live performances, the intimate settings of their music making, appreciating their work and artistry. The two of them are inseparable.

ReplyDeleteI guess I'm privileged. For years, even while living in our little village of Val-David, we have had a high speed Internet connection. Last Christmas my kids gave me a new computer with powers I have yet to explore.
ReplyDeleteWhen I read other posts and how theire authors have "slow old" computers or slow connections, I can not help but be grateful for what I have and what my kids provided me with.

My favorite city, Firenze....grew up with Italians too, lots of them. Somethin' about all that makes me really love Italian :)

The music is sweet, it reminds the folk music of the 60s. I saw the pics too. Your daughter looks intelligent and beautiful, with an intimate tone of voice. She might have taken more from her Scandinavian father's side (Denmark and Sweden,) though, differently from what Natalie says. But one cannot much tell from pictures.
